Identify the dominant motor
Record the rated kW, starting method and acceleration time for crushers, screens, conveyors and pumps. The largest start may determine generator capacity even when the steady process load is modest. Sequencing large motors can reduce the simultaneous starting requirement.

Define the operating duty
Tell us whether the set is emergency standby, scheduled prime power or a recurring site source, plus daily hours and average load. Long-hour operation changes the discussion around loading, maintenance intervals, fuel autonomy and whether the selected class is being used too lightly or too heavily.

Account for the mine environment
Share altitude, maximum temperature, airborne dust, rain exposure, access road limits and the location of the set relative to workers. These inputs affect cooling margin, filtration discussion, enclosure access and installation planning. Hazardous-area or statutory mine requirements must be stated and independently confirmed.

Compare practical fuel supply
Diesel supports remote delivery and storage; natural gas may be considered only where pressure, flow and composition are stable and suitable. Send the available-fuel data, required autonomy, replenishment plan and service constraints with the electrical load schedule.
